FOR ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED A BEGINNERS INTRODUCTION COURSE WITH WSSD SCENT DETECTION PROGRESSION CLASS- TRAINING ON EQUIPMENT OR ON THE ENVIRONMENT Limited to just 4 dogs per class so all get ample opportunity to develop new skills. PLEASE NOTE - In the interests of every dog enjoying their search opportunity you will be asked to leave your dog in your car between your searches. They MUST be OK to be left alone in your car for short periods. For dogs from 6 months. These sessions are for all those who already have scent ID on gun-oil and want to improve their Searching, Scent ID, Indication and their teamwork with their dog. Its for handlers who want to understand their dog’s language so you can communicate with them in their world of scent. A dog’s nose has up to 300 million olfactory receptors compared to a human nose of 5 million! All animals use their nose to orientate themselves in an environment, to create social bonds as well as to avoid predators Dogs rely heavily on their sense of smell to function in the world around them. All dogs will enjoy scent detection and search dogs are happy dogs! When your dog is involved in scent work you will be amazed to see the focus and intensity they show. Your dog has the opportunity to use their natural skills and behaviours that he was born with. This workshop will progress you and your dog to scent imprinting and search tasks that will help to channel these natural desires. Your dog will enjoy working alongside you, using all their instinctive behaviours and skills joined with their senses. All the search and scent tasks can be translated in your daily life with your dog and, for those who wish to develop further more scent detection classes will be offered. Remember a dog’s nose is 100 million times ore sensitive than a human nose at detecting odours.

Cancellation Policy

TERMS FOR MANTRAILING All bookings can be cancelled two weeks before a session and receive a full refund. Cancellations one week before a session commences receive a 50% refund. No refunds are given for cancellations after this time except in exceptional circumstances abs prior written agreement unless the space on that particular session can be filled by another dog and handler team. TERMS FOR SCENT DETECTION Scent Workshop Once booked a workshop can be cancelled two weeks before workshop and receive a full refund. Cancellations 1 week before training session commences receive a 50% refund and no refunds are given for cancellations after this time except in exceptional circumstances and prior written agreement. Scentwork 1:1 Sessions Once booked these sessions can be cancelled two weeks before training package commences and receive a full refund. Cancellations 1 week before training session commences receive a 50% refund and no refunds are given for cancellations after this time except in exceptional circumstances and prior written agreement. All 1:1 Scent Training Packages must be completed within a 6-month period except upon prior written agreement.
