Service Description
Join us for a progression with a difference. If your dog is not giving an indication when finding a misper this is the workshop for you and it comes in two parts . PART 1 Starting from basics - What is your dogs natural indication? How to start the foundations of an indication when a misper is found, how to enable your dog to use the same indication on mispers who are sitting on the ground or on a seat/bench, mispers lying down, mispers up on something high and teaching them duration and a release cue. PART 2 How to get an indication on walking mispers both forward and backward , mispers in plain sight, how to indicate on the correct misper if there are two people at the end of the trail Please bring suitable footwear as some places/,venues may be wet and damp underfoot. For dogs aged from 6 months and who have passed the Mantrailing Introduction . You can begin to start working towards your Level 1 assessment by attending 20 progression workshops to complete various types of trails. Each workshop will see you complete either two long trails or three shorter trails. You will need to bring your book with you and fill out each section to get it signed off by your instructor. You can book workshops on both dates as different locations. You can also purchase a progression badge book for £5 if you to earn your badges These will be signed off after each workshop.
Cancellation Policy
TERMS FOR MANTRAILING All bookings can be cancelled two weeks before a session and receive a full refund. Cancellations one week before a session commences receive a 50% refund. No refunds are given for cancellations after this time except in exceptional circumstances abs prior written agreement unless the space on that particular session can be filled by another dog and handler team. TERMS FOR SCENT DETECTION Scent Workshop Once booked a workshop can be cancelled two weeks before workshop and receive a full refund. Scentwork 1:1 Sessions Once booked these sessions can be cancelled two weeks before training package commences and receive a full refund. Cancellations 1 week before training session commences receive a 50% refund and no refunds are given for cancellations after this time except in exceptional circumstances and prior written agreement. All 1:1 Scent Training Packages must be completed within a 6-month period except upon prior written agreement.
